The Grapes of Math is a wonderfully
imaginative and innovative work. It truly delivers on its promise of teaching children math in a new and
interesting way. It is also a great deal of fun. The rhymes are clever, the
concept is great, and the illustrations are bright and engaging. This would also be a great book to help any learning
disabled child (or simply one who has trouble in math) learn math, no matter their age.
Other interesting facts abound (besides the mathematical ones). Young readers will
be delighted to read about how camels store water in their humps or how
strawberries grow. This is an excellent book for younger readers and
should be a staple in classrooms across the land. I, for one, will be buying a copy for each of my nieces and nephews!
